This hat is awesome! Besides just looking cool, it’s perfect when you want something lighter and less bulky than a thick wool hat. The crown has a great silky feel, and the fleece part is soft and warm.

I LOVE THEEEESE HATS!! I got one for each of my coats. They are fun, fashionable, warm and not too bulky.
I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. 🙂 Got several for friends for gifts this year.

THESE ARE THE BEST HATS EVER!!! I don’t remember the last time that I didn’t wear mine! Great for Winter running, Nordic skiing, hiking, and just wearing around because they look so cool! The fabric is so silky soft, and the headband on the inside keeps you warm and blocks the wind, while still being very breathable. I don’t think I’ll buy any other hats ever again!

Just got this hat over the new years holiday. Used it for xcountry skiing and running, even though it was 24 degrees out, i was very comfortable not too hot or cold.
This company really understands what is needed for outdoor head wear!!
The choices of colors are just so WONDERFULL. Will be telling all my
friends.

I cut firewood in the coldest weather because it splits most easily then, and yesterday (January 23) I was down in the woods at seven degrees below zero, with a howling wind. I wore my Choucas hat instead of my trusty fleece hat with ear flaps, and found it far superior. Not only was it impermeable to the wind, but–unlike in the fleece–my head didn’t sweat in it when I got down to work.

These hats are not only fun and fashionable, but warm and comfortable! I’m buying several to go with my different colored jackets! Great for throwing on if you’re having a bad hair day too!!

I own many of these hats, and my favorite ones are the ones with the sparkles. I use them for skiing under my helmet, and when I take my helmet off for apres ski. Instead of helmet hair I have a cute sparkly hat. I always get compliments on them. People ask me where they can get them, and I tell them. I have washed them repeatedly in the washing machine on delicate and cold water and woolite, and then hang them to dry. The sparkles have not come off and the hats look new. They are comfortable and keep your head warm. They make great gifts for your friends.

I bought my first beloved sparkly blue hat at the Vermont Country store at least 5 years ago, and another one a year later at the Fryeburg Fair in Maine. They are perfect for sparkling up a dreary winter day. Since moving to California and wanting to bicycle all year I discovered they fit under a bicycle helmet and a quick rinse and dry on a doorknob keeps them looking good as new. Last year during Covid I bought the double neck gaiter and wore it every day in the winter and for bicycling to and from work – kept me warm! I lost it on a hike and purchased two of the single fabric ones but they are not the same…unfortunately (the white of the backside of the fabric shows – I recommended the double-fabric). Now I’ve misplaced my wonderful blue original hat and have looked everywhere…..and the fabric does not seem to be in any of the photos. In summary: LOVE THEM, BUY THEM and try not to lose them!!
